- Order and Despatch Times
All orders are prepared and packed fresh for a Thursday evening despatch for arrival to your home on Friday before 7.00pm. Last orders are taken at 3.00pm on Tuesdays, orders received after this time will be despatched on the following Thursday. If you need something more urgently then call us on 01676 522409, please note we are not available on Sunday Afternoons and Monday all day. - Packaging
Your meat is despatched in specialist food boxes that have non-toxic ice gel pack to ensure meat remains below 5c for 48 hours. Where appropriate, meat will be vacuum packed which allows longer fresh refrigerated meat storage time. - Who delivers your order?
We use Business Post next day delivery service for all our non-local deliveries. Locally we deliver in our own refrigerated delivery van - If you are not going to be home to receive a delivery
If you are not going to be able to meet the driver and receive your delivery in person then it is essential that you record this in your order notes and provide details of how you wish to have your parcel delivered. E.g. if you want it placed in the garage then please specify this or if a neighbour is willing to hold the parcel then give their address and details. If you are not in and the driver is not advised as to how to deliver the goods, they have to return it to the depot. - Can I cancel an order?
If you do need to cancel an order, then please advise us by telephone before 12.00pm Wednesday prior to despatch. A nominal administration fee is applied. - Order Weights
Meat is predominately sold in a pack, weights supplied may differ slightly from that presented on the website due to the variation in carcasses and also that it is being butchered by hand not machine. We will work within a +/- 5% tolerance (in a butcher’s fashion we seek to ensure it is a little bit over!) - Unavailable Goods
Due to the nature of our business and availability of different meats there may be a time we cannot fulfil your exact order. We will contact you within 1 working day to agree an acceptable substitution, cancellation or deferred order. - Delivery Costs
Delivery costs are calculated against the order value, and include the provision of standard insulated packaging and ice gel packs- Walk in and collect orders - No Charge
- Orders upto £50.00 - £11.30
- Orders over £50.00 and upto £100.00 - £5.65
- Orders over £100.00 - No Charge
- Non receipt of delivery
If your delivery fails to arrive by 7.00pm of the Friday it is expected then please contact us immediately by e-mail (richard@berkswelltraditionalmeats.co.uk) or call Richard Tuckey on 01676 522409 within 24 hours. We will then investigate your delivery with Business Post. - Unsatisfactory Goods

Information provided by you will be used solely in conducting business between Berkswell Traditional Farmstead Meats and your good self. Information is managed securely and never disclosed to another party without your express written permission.
Additional information relating to deliveries: We also deliver to DD, DG, EH, FK, G, KA (except KA27 & KA28), KY, ML, TD, AB 1 to AB 16, AB 21 to AB 25, AB 30, AB 39, PA 1 to PA 19, PH 1 to PH 3). Outside of these areas, additional deliver fees will be incurred, please call us on 01676 522409 to discuss.
